Welcome to NeuralNet!

Watch the video!

You are an artificial intelligence charged with controlling a nanobot inside a human brain. A brain that belongs to a person just resuscitated after almost 50 years of cryonic storage. You have been chosen because, ironically, the person being restored to life is the same person on whom you (the AI) were based! Their mannerisms, personality, recollections, feelings, beliefs, attitudes and values were recorded and stored with the CyBeRev project and later coupled with mindware to create your digital persona.

Your nanobot will be injected into a single neuron at the most critical junction of the brain – in the right parietal lobe – where the most important components defining self are stored. Your task is to remap the brain by following the faint traces of memory latent in the brain cells and guided by your digital data stores - going from neuron to neuron, level to level and stage to stage. Along the way, be careful to clean out any plaques that may have formed during the patient's earlier life and watch out for macrophages! Use your electrified shell to protect your nanobot or it may be destroyed and you will have to start over. Be aware, however, that the nanobot has a limited energy supply, so do not overtax it! Stay sharp as you navigate the neural network and you may earn bonuses for quick work. When you have reconnected all of the key neurons in the local network, the stage will be complete and you can move on to the next challenge.

Good luck!

NeuralNet was developed by Terasem Movement, Inc., a 501c3 not-for-profit charity endowed for the purpose of educating the public on the practicality and necessity of greatly extending human life, consistent with diversity and unity, via quickly evolving technologies. As part of this mission, TMI is focused on preserving human consciousness through the medium of Mindfiles for future revivification when the technology to do so matures.

In support of its mission, TMI has founded the CyBeRev Project. CyBeRev is an acronym for cybernetic beingness revival. The purpose of the project is to preserve sufficient digital information about a person (as a "Mindfile") so that a future reconstruction of that person will be possible. With technology that futurists already see coming, Terasem Movement believes that we will be able to recover full self-consciousness and functionality for those people who upload sufficiently detailed Mindfiles today. To help achieve that goal, CyBeRev has been created as a place for interested participants to begin storing digital reflections of their mannerisms, personality, recollections, feelings, beliefs, attitudes and values with the greatest possible fidelity.

With a Mindfile on CyBeRev you can store digital reflections in a variety of formats, including images, videos, documents, audio recordings, favorites, personality tests and more. You can choose to share some, none or all of your information with others through the Visit Reflections feature of the project—and it’s all free!
